As we look back on the past spring season at Forman, we're thrilled to share the achievements and highlights of our competitive programs and recreational offerings. Our Boys' and Girls' Lacrosse teams shined with exceptional teamwork and leadership. While their exceptional performance on the field is a testament to their dedication, it's just one facet of the rich athletic and academic experience offered at Forman.

Beyond Lacrosse, our Baseball team celebrated notable victories. All of our Tennis teams excelled in many HVAL (Housatonic Valley Athletic League) competitions, and the Ultimate Frisbee team exemplified enthusiasm and fair play, finishing fourth in the ULT CT (Connecticut Ultimate Club) state tournament. Forman had the honor of hosting the boys' singles championships, the boys' doubles championships, and the girls' singles championships for HVAL.

Our partnership with Litchfield Hills Rowing Club saw our Crew team excel at regattas, with one student placing fifth at nationals. The Golf team showed significant improvement, and students embraced the thrill of Whitewater Kayaking on the Housatonic River.

In our recreational programs, students enjoyed high-intensity CrossFit workouts at CrossFit Override in Thomaston, creative culinary experiences in the Bistro, and captivating theater performances in the VPAC with "The Importance of Being Earnest" stealing the show. They also developed horseback riding skills in our Equestrian program at Fox Crossing Center. Recreational Golf introduced many to the sport, and our social media team highlighted the vibrant life within Forman athletics.

All teams and recreational groups benefited from training with Science Department Chair Dr. Ostaszewski, our certified strengthening and conditioning coach, who enhanced their power, speed, and balance while also educating them on healthy choices and hydration.

We are incredibly proud of our students' accomplishments and look forward to more success in the upcoming fall season at Forman.
