Forman School is an independent coeducational, college preparatory school for boarding and day students with identified learning differences. Forman develops the whole student, based on each individual’s learning profile, so that all graduates become educated, confident self-advocates throughout life.

The Cognition and Learning Building and Diagnostic Center at Forman School
The Forman School Cognition and Learning Building and Diagnostic Center, a state-of-the-art and carbon-neutral building, will support our mission of serving students who learn differently.
The building for the Cognition and Learning Department and Diagnostic Center will:
Be a hub for research and collaboration with universities and educational organizations from around the world
Support testing and assessment of learning profiles within the Forman community and beyond
Integrate the department with the existing academic quad
Update facilities to meet the needs of the Forman community
Aid in keeping us at the forefront in the field of neurodivergent learning and research
Provide a protected space for sensitive and confidential conversations
Enhance our sustainability efforts through geothermal heating options
The four core priorities of our Strategic Plan are each addressed through this project:
Strengthen and further differentiate the academic program at Forman School
Hire, train, and recruit world-class faculty members
Ensure students are fully prepared for the challenges of college and life after Forman
Strengthen Forman for the future
