Forman School is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory school for boarding and day students with identified learning differences. Ninth-Grade Class Attends Event Celebrating Innovation, Sustainability, and Health

On Friday, March 28th, our ninth-grade class attended UConn Waterbury’s WISHfest, an event celebrating innovation, sustainability, and health. This year’s theme was WISH to Ignite: Passion, Resilience, and Boundless Possibilities.
Students had the exciting opportunity to hear from keynote speaker Jack Horner, the renowned paleontologist who inspired Dr. Grant’s character in Jurassic Park.
According to the event's website, Horner shared his journey of navigating severe dyslexia and academic challenges while transforming the audience's understanding of dinosaurs. It writes, "His story is a powerful testament to resilience, creativity, and embracing one’s strengths."
