Forman’s Robotics team brought four robots to the Vex V5 Robotics Competition High Stakes at Daniel Hand High School in Madison, CT, on November 17th. They competed against teams from across New England, and two of their robots earned special recognition!
Team 1930C (Bennett Fuchs ’26, Simon Strazza ’25, and Liam Kelly ’25) went 5-1 to finish the qualification rounds ranked 8th out of 59 total teams! This was high enough to advance to the elimination rounds, where they unfortunately lost in the first round.
Team 1930 B (James Washington ’25, Ted O'Connor ’27, and Connor Clark ’26) earned the Judges Award for their "exemplary effort and perseverance" in the way they gamely responded to setbacks with clever design modifications.
Congratulations to all of our students on their hard work!
