Forman’s On-Campus Eatery Celebrates Grand Re-Opening

The Lion’s Den Bistro, Forman’s on-campus eatery, recently celebrated its Grand Re-Opening. Located in the Malcolm G. Chace Student Center, the Bistro is a flagship program at Forman, providing students with hands-on experience running a restaurant. 


Chef Erica Dorsett now leads the program, bringing extensive experience in culinary arts and food service to Forman. Erica’s prior experiences include owning and running her own deli in Morris, CT, leadership roles at The Morris Marketplace and South Farms, and serving as event support for CulinArt. She also has a background in education, having spent time in the classroom in several local public school systems.


Before officially opening its doors to the entire Forman community, the Lion’s Den Bistro hosted a special menu preview for colleagues. The event was a hit, with many raving about the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere.


“The Bistro looked great and ran so smoothly, as you handled a large crowd,” Head of School Amy Clemons shared with the team. “The chicken tacos were delicious!”


“What a treat! Food was delicious and loved the vibe in the kitchen!” said Executive Functioning Coach Jane Benson.
