Harvey Hubbell V, Litchfield resident and director of the documentary Hopeville: How to Win the Reading Wars, recently visited campus and met with Head of School Amy Clemons. Harvey’s film, centered on a public school in Waterbury, CT, focuses on dyslexia and the need for structured literacy for every student. Forman is highlighted at the very beginning of the documentary as a model for educating students who learn differently. This is Harvey’s second film on the subject.
Several Forman colleagues attended a screening of Hopeville: How to Win the Reading Wars at the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury on November 19th.
