Forman School is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory school for academically motivated students with identified learning differences such as dyslexia, executive function difficulties, or attention deficits. Our program does not support students with behavioral and emotional difficulties, social communication disorder, or those on the autism spectrum.

Forman is located in the quintessential New England town of Litchfield, CT. We’re easy to access: just two hours drive from New York City, two and a half from Boston, and one hour from Hartford.

All tours are by appointment only. They’re scheduled during school hours, so you can see us in action. Prior to your visit, we highly recommend submitting a student’s most recent educational testing—this helps us better understand their learning profile in advance. Testing should include measures of cognitive ability (such as a WISC/WAIS test) and measures of achievement (such as WJ-IV or WIAT-III).
