Student Leadership
Student Government
Student leadership is an honor and a responsibility open to all. Through an all-school ballot, students and faculty recognize a student’s abilities and talents in community and interpersonal relationships. Student leaders are juniors and seniors who possess traits of dependability, fairness, initiative and trustworthiness. They show respect, good judgment and compassion, setting a good example for the rest of the student community.
Job Program
As part of School Government, students participate in on-campus community service through the Job Program. Job Leaders are selected through an all school ballot based on the the characteristics of:
- leadership
- initiative,
- fairness
- dependability
- trustworthiness
All remaining students are assigned to job crews which take care of the campus buildings and grounds. Most crews meet daily, Monday through Friday. Job assignments are rotated each academic term. The Job Program Supervisor runs the program with the support of faculty advisors. Students take a great deal of pride in the beauty and cleanliness of the Forman campus.
